2019 Ford Escape in Salem, OH

The Ford Escape for 2019 is Available in Salem, OH

Back when the world was celebrating the dawn of a new millennium and a new century in 2000, the automotive geniuses at Ford were preparing to gift us with a stylish, new SUV. Now, nearly 20 years later, the Ford Escape is still going strong, and it's still one of the most popular crossovers we have available at Donnell Ford of Salem.

The 2019 version of the Ford Escape is much like the one drivers in Columbiana and Lisbon, OH already know. It still has four doors, two rows of seating, plenty of cargo space, and a useful 3,500-pound maximum towing capacity. But, it now offers a wider availability of sought-after tech features, increasing the number of standard creature comforts per trim level, with an end result that our customers are sure to appreciate.

Performance and Power for the 2019 Ford Escape

One of our favorite things about the Ford Escape is the way it lets the driver be in control of their SUV's performance. There are three possible engines for this model, ranging from entry-level to turbocharged and fun. Options include:

  • A 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with 168 horsepower and 170 pound-feet of torque that is standard on the base trim level only.
  • A turbocharged, 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine rated for 179 horsepower and 177 pound-feet of torque that's standard on the mid-range levels.
  • A range-topping, turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that's good for 245 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque, which comes on the top, most luxurious Ford Escape trim, the Escape Titanium.

2019 Ford Escape Trim Levels and Features

As mentioned, the most noticeable changes for the 2019 model year involve the list of available features. These changes are most apparent at the Escape SE level, which gains a few additional, standard features, but they can be felt throughout the  quality lineup of this SUV. The breakdown of trims and features that are available to Beloit and East Palestine drivers includes:

  • 2019 Ford Escape S, the entry-level model comes with standard rearview camera, smartphone integration, Ford's MyKey safety parental controls for teen drivers, and Bluetooth and USB connectivity.
  • 2019 Ford Escape SE, the second trim level in the lineup packs in the standard features, keeping all of the previous version's amenities, and adding keyless entry and ignition, rear air vents, heated seats, and fog lights, as well as opening shoppers up to several optional packages.
  •
  • 2019 Ford Escape SEL, at this upper level, the Escape keeps all of the previous models' standard and available features, plus it adds a power liftgate, heated exterior mirrors, parking sensors, and upgraded cloth upholstery.
  • 2019 Ford Escape Titanium, the top-of-the-line Titanium gives drivers a long list of luxury and safety features, such as ambient interior lighting, an automated parking system, xenon headlights, an automatically-dimming rearview mirror, navigation system, and a remote engine start system.

There are also a number of available packages for the new Escape, which drivers can use to customize their SUV and equip it with the features they really want. Look for the Safe and Smart Package, which gives you advanced safety features, the Sport Appearance Package, and the Tow Package.
